My story

For as long as I can remember, I was the overweight kid. Growing up, I struggled with my weight and my skin — constant breakouts, low energy, the kind of relationship with food where everything tasted good in the moment and felt terrible after. I tried every diet, every shortcut, every "eat this, not that" list on the internet. Nothing stuck because nothing made sense.

What finally changed everything was not a diet — it was education. I decided to actually understand how food works. I enrolled in nutrition courses, studied macronutrients, micronutrients, how protein affects satiety, how fiber supports gut health, how blood sugar spikes drive cravings. The more I learned, the more I realized that healthy eating is not about restriction — it's about making smarter choices with real, whole ingredients.

Over the next three years, I transformed my body and my skin. Not with extreme dieting or punishing workouts, but with balanced, high-protein meals made from real food. Meals I actually enjoyed eating. That transformation is why SofiaYuzu exists — I want to share the recipes that changed my life so they can change yours too.
